THE ARTIST
Aleah Belle is a singer/songwriter from Barrie, Ontario. Of mixed French, English and Ojibway descent (her father is from Long Lake 58 First Nation), Aleah has been singing since she was a young girl.
After attending Centennial College’s Music, Arts and Performance Program, she set off on a career as a singer and songwriter, with gigs across Canada and the US as a solo artist. In 2018, she was chosen to perform in Las Vegas for a talent show sponsored by Lowe’s, where she performed in front of 4000 people.
In 2019, Aleah began working with Plex, an indigenous hip hop artist, lending her powerful vocals to the tracks “Red Flags” and “Lost in the Cycle,” currently in rotation on satellite radio.
She also performs as lead vocalist with STOiK, an Indigenous EDM group. Her original song, “Old Brick House” can be heard on the album Pareidolia, also in rotation on satellite radio across the globe.
